TORONTO –
RouteOne Canada recently announced it has completed integration with General Motors’ captive finance organization GM Financial, which may simplify the credit approval process for GM dealers.
All GM dealers may now send credit applications electronically through the RouteOne Canada platform as well as manage the entire scope of the credit fulfillment process, the companies reported.
Commenting on the news, Barry McMillan, president, RouteOne Canada, said, "RouteOne Canada is extremely pleased to welcome GM Financial to the platform.
"The addition of a quality lender like GM Financial allows us to greatly expand our service offering to our mutual dealer customers in Canada," he added.
The company explained that RouteOne Canada’s credit application management system enables dealers to "access their finance sources, exchange credit application and decision information, and print documents online, all within a single portal."
"The availability of GM Financial on the RouteOne system provides our dealers with access to a proven and successful platform that is designed to deliver our products easily and efficiently," concluded Howard Cobham, GM Financial Canada senior vice president.
