CARMEL, Ind. -

Reaching within its nationwide network, ADESA on Tuesday announced the promotions of two longtime employees for the roles of executive vice president of U.S. auction operations.

Named to the positions, which they will assume immediately, are Mike Caggiano and Pat Stevens. Both will continue to report directly to Tom Caruso, ADESA president and chief executive officer.

“Mike and Pat are vehicle remarketing veterans with proven track records for delivering results for our customers and our company,” said Caruso.

“They have worked in various capacities both at the auction level and in key management roles and bring diverse skill sets to these positions. I look forward to their continued leadership of our U.S. auction operations,” he said.

Caggiano will serve as executive vice president of ADESA’s eastern region, having most recently served as regional vice president of that region, since 2007.

He began his remarketing career in 1985 at a Massachusetts-based leasing company, and joined ADESA Boston in 1996 as sales manager. In 2000, Caggiano opened ADESA Concord in Acton, Mass., and served as the auction's general manager.

Stevens will serve as executive vice president of ADESA’s western region, following his most recent tenure as regional vice president of the company’s central region, a position he held since 2008.

Stevens brings nearly two decades of remarketing experience to his role, ADESA notes, and has worked in various management positions for both ADT and ADESA, including general manager of ADESA Dallas.

In 2007, he was promoted to regional vice president, western region. Stevens has also served as a NAAA Zone president and as a member of other NAAA committees, ADESA officials said.
