Manheim revealed Thursday it has names a chief technology office.
Manheim has selected Michael Noel for the role.
Noel will report to executive vice president and chief operating officer Janet Barnard, effective May 6.
In his new role, Noel will lead Manheim’s technology systems, applications and operations.
“We are thrilled to have Michael join our team, as he brings the type of IT vision, business engagement skills and leadership that will further our goals of enhancing our technology systems and processes, while ensuring we stay ahead of trends that influence our future direction,” said Barnard. “Our goal is to lead the industry by anticipating the types of innovative solutions our customers will need to grow and better compete.”
Highlighting the new exec's background, Noel brings more than 15 years of global business, consulting and technology strategy to the company. He most recently served as chief information officer and senior VP of shared services for PRGX Global Inc., “where he led efforts to evolve a single-service business into a multi-service business that drove increased growth and profitability,” officials shared.
Noel began his career at A.T. Kearney, a global consulting company, in its technology and transformation practice where he led the development, design and execution of IT solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
