RICHARDSON, Texas -

One of Used Car Week’s sponsors, Liquid Motors, rolled out a new solution this morning, a tool the company is calling LiquidConnect.

LiquidConnect is a mobile application designed to empower dealers, independent auto auctions and inspection companies to perform vehicle data collection, update pricing, capture vehicle photos and input vehicle condition data.

“LiquidConnect speeds up the data collection process and the quality of the data collected,” said Greg Lubrani, chief operating officer of Liquid Motors.

“This new service will allow our customers to process vehicles faster with more detailed data and better photos, and get the vehicles marketed to online retail and wholesale marketplaces faster,” Lubrani continued.

LiquidConnect can run on any Jelly Bean Android handheld device; however, Liquid Motors strongly recommended the Samsung Galaxy Camera 16 MP with flash and 21x zoom due to the photo quality that the device provides.

The company highlighted the application has an intuitive touch screen user interface and the user can capture vehicle data by scanning VIN, searching existing inventory or entering the VIN manually.

Using VIN explosion for correct merchandising of vehicle options and equipment, LiquidConnect can allow the user to update vehicle information including wholesale and retail pricing.

Users can work online or offline and the vehicle data and photos sync over Wi-Fi or 4G/3G networks once connected.

“We designed LiquidConnect to work for retail and wholesale vehicle merchandising," said Michael Daseke, president and chief executive officer of Liquid Motors.

“Dealers can use LiquidConnect to gather vehicle information, to capture unlimited photos and to print window stickers and buyers' guides to a Bluetooth printer for front line vehicles,” Daseke continued. “Dealers, independent auto auctions and inspection companies can use LiquidConnect to gather vehicle condition data and take damage photos for wholesale vehicles.”

Daseke went on to mention LiquidConnect can provide a quick and easy solution to gather the vehicle information necessary for merchandising inventory on Internet retail marketplaces and on most major Internet wholesale marketplaces.

“Combining LiquidConnect with the power of the AccuData Inventory Management Service and the One-Click Wholesale Service will provide Liquid Motors’ customers with faster time to market and more exposure for their vehicles on the Internet,” Daseke said.

Liquid Motors also is the sponsor of this year’s Used Car Week Golf Outing, which is set for Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Located in La Jolla, Calif., Torrey Pines Golf Course sits on the coastal cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean and is recognized as the premier municipal golf course owned and operated by a city. It is named after the Torrey Pine, a rare tree that grows in the wild only along this local stretch of the coastline in San Diego County and on Santa Rosa Island.

Torrey Pines was the site of perhaps the most memorable modern-day U.S. Open Championship, when in 2008, under the typically brutal conditions of this major tournament, injured and hobbling Tiger Woods defeated Rocco Mediate during their sudden death playoff after 90 grueling holes of exciting golf.
