NASHVILLE, Tenn. –
After launching in Atlanta last year, online auto retailer Carvana is going to the Music City for its next location. The company is opening a distribution center in Nashville, Tenn., its first one outside of Atlanta, kick-starting what Carvana called a “series of market expansions.”
“We have experienced strong demand for online car sales stemming from the Nashville area," said Ernie Garcia, president of Carvana.
“Consumer demand coupled with a large metropolitan area and a technology-friendly culture made Nashville a natural fit for our first distribution point outside Atlanta, following our launch of nationwide availability,” he added.
The company’s online shopping platform lets consumers browse Carvana Certified pre-owned vehicles, customize financial terms and set up delivery method and timing.
Carvana offers home delivery, or consumers can choose to pick up their purchase at what Carvana calls its “car-vending machine” in Atlanta.
The cars include a 100-day/4,189-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and have a seven-day “test-own” return policy.
