NEW YORK –
Captify, an advertising technology company that specializes in search intelligence, has released findings from its analysis of more than 15 billion consumer searches to determine the most popular brands and types of cars catching consumers’ attention in 2016.
Ford was found to be the most searched car brand by consumers last year.
After Ford, Audi and Honda were the most searched car brand, according to the report.
In 2016, Ford was also most searched by men and most popular with 18-to-24 year-olds.
Honda was found to be the favorite of women and most popular amongs Baby Boomer women between 55 and 64 years old.
Trucks, sports cars, and family cars were consumers’ most popular types of cars and combined the top three searched types made up more than 60 percent of the search volume.
