CENTREVILLE, Va. –
The Washington Post recently honored Carfax with its fifth consecutive Top Workplace award, which recognizes Washington, D.C.-area companies with the highest ratings from their employees.
The company announced Monday that it is one of just 11 mid-size companies to receive the annual award a total of five consecutive times.
In addition to Carfax, among the total 150 companies recognized during a private Washington Post ceremony was Jim Koons Automotive, which operates 10 of its 25 franchises in the Washington, D.C. area.
“We’re so grateful to have the hard work of team Carfax recognized with this award,” Carfax president Dick Raines said in a news release. “Our company is evolving, yet the one constant is our employees' commitment to helping millions of people.
“It started over 30 years ago with the introduction of the Carfax Report and continues today with innovative solutions like myCarfax and Carfax Used Car Listings. Day in and day out, nearly 850 talented members of our team are focused on building new products and improving our existing ones that people rely on to confidently shop for, buy, own and sell used cars,” said Raines.
The Carfax headquarters in Centreville, Va., provides a workspace that works to inspire free-flowing ideas and progress where employees can also take their dogs every day.
