DALLAS –
There’s a new solution available for handling missed phone calls at the dealership that makes reviewing voicemail messages an easy task that can be done just about anywhere.
Car Wars has introduced its new Voicemail Transcription product powered by IBM Watson that provides a detailed outline of calls from customers who weren't able to speak with dealership staff.
“Dealers know voicemail is a black hole for inbound phone calls,” Car Wars vice president of automotive Mike Haeg said in a news release. “It’s normal for agents to ignore voicemail messages. Even worse, these agents may not even be aware of their voicemail box passcode.
“This leakage point results in missed opportunities and frustrated callers. Our voicemail transcription helps dealers with quick, actionable insight into their customer's needs,” Haeg continued.
According to Car Wars, reviewers listen on customers phone call going into and out of a dealership to detect when voicemail is reached. When voicemail is reached, AI transcribes the call and makes the transcriptions available to staff via simplified reports.
