McLEAN, Va. –
One of the used-car industry’s top analysts has earned a promotion.
Jonathan Banks of J.D. Power, who is among the many speakers lined up for next week’s Used Car Week conferences, is now the company’s vice president and general manager of vehicle valuations.
Banks, whose background in the car business goes back to 1995, has led the building of vehicle demand and pricing analytical models for the past two decades.
He has also led efforts around J.D. Power’s residual values model.
His responsibilities in the new post include leading the operations strategy of Used Car Guide at J.D. Power and leading efforts to upgrade vehicle valuations.
At Used Car Week, Banks will be speaking during three sessions:
