WESTCHESTER, Ill. -

Digital auto marketplace IAA is growing their leadership team with the hiring of Peg Burr as senior vice president of product management, in an effort to strengthen product development in the global marketplace.

Most recently, Burr was VP and global product portfolio leader for the digital business of Cognizant.

Prior to Cognizant, she led global end-to-end technology product strategy and management as a managing director with Accenture.  Her experience includes product and service portfolio management in all industry verticals for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer products, including the alliance partner ecosystem.

IAA said Burr has extensive product strategy and management expertise, which will serve to “further the product leadership position that IAA has established in the industry.”

“We are excited to welcome Peg to the team,”  IAA chief executive officer and president John Kett said in a news release.  “She has extensive experience developing industry-disrupting solutions for global companies. This skill set and experience will help IAA better align our innovation-focused culture with our growing portfolio of products and services.”

In other recent news from the company, earlier this spring Auto Remarketing reported IAA’s U.K.-based business unit has expanded its vehicle delivery service for its buyers, and the company said that with the expansion, it can deliver vehicles anywhere on the U.K. mainland.
