CALGARY, Alberta — Quorum Information Technologies was recently chosen by the Co-Auto Co-Operative — a cooperative buying group in Woodbridge, Ontario that includes more than 1,200 dealer members — to serve as its exclusive dealership management system provider.

The company began providing its XSELLERATOR DMS product to these dealers through the Co-Auto purchasing channel on Thursday.

Officials said Co-Auto, whose membership includes all auto brands, uses its collective purchasing power to offer dealers a vast assortment of "top-quality products and services" at a discount.

"We invited Quorum to become an approved vendor to Co-Auto because they offer our dealerships a modern, cost effective system that is focused on real benefits to dealers," explained Trevor Dawson, Co-Auto's vice president of sales and marketing.

"We see Quorum's XSELLERATOR as a great choice for our forward-thinking dealerships," he added. "By having a DMS as a part of the cooperative, we enhance the coverage of products and services for our dealer members."

Quorum, meanwhile, can extend its reach and provide its DMS products to dealers outside of its General Motors customers.

"We are excited to embark on this new relationship with Co-Auto. It exactly aligns with our strategy to offer our DMS to new car franchises and independent operations beyond GM," Mark Allen, vice president of sales, marketing and services for Quorum, said.

"The relationship is a perfect complement to our GM IDMS offering for GM franchisees and will offer other dealerships in Ontario similar access to special pricing coupled with the advantages of their Co-Auto membership," he continued.
