The National Auto Auction Association said Bo Jackson, scheduled to be the closing keynote speaker of the 2025 NAAA World Remarketing Convention next month in Kansas City, has canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Replacing him in the lineup will be former NFL defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, a five-time All-Pro and Super Bowl champion. Suh, an engineer, entrepreneur and investor, will headline the event with insights from his NFL career, entrepreneurial ventures and philanthropic work, NAAA said.

Ndamukong Suh
“I am disappointed I won’t be able to make the NAAA Convention this year,” Jackson said, “but I am sure Ndamukong will do a great job. I look forward to meeting the NAAA folks very soon.”
Suh was selected by the Detroit Lions as the second overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and played 13 NFL seasons, earning his Super Bowl ring with the 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also played for the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles.
Suh’s primary business is real estate. He has been developing properties across the nation for more than a decade, with a focus on multi-family projects and making housing attainable for all.
He is a partner in HMS Development, a company focused on mixed-use development projects that is spearheading several projects dedicated to uplifting the Portland, Ore., community. That includes Alberta Alley, a diversity-minded development space focused on promoting Black business owners and business owners of color, and an in-progress attainable housing initiative designed to provide affordable workforce and/or temporary housing to young professionals.

NAAA announces improvements to safety training
NAAA announced it has made enhancements to its NAAA Safety Training Program that are now live.
The program’s five job-specific video courses can now be viewed and taken individually, and group leaders can now assign the courses to individual users.
NAAA said the changes are designed to make the job-specific courses, which were previously grouped together, easier for users to access.
For member auctions that need to use an offline training program to train multiple employees in a classroom setting, NAAA has created a web page that includes the videos, a downloadable testing document and completion certificates.
The safety training videos can be accessed here, and the offline training program is available here.
