UVeye keeps adding partners.

The latest partnership for the provider of artificial intelligence-powered vehicle inspection systems is with Jaguar Land Rover North America. UVeye will install its automated inspection systems at the British luxury automaker’s three major U.S. seaport facilities, in Brunswick, Ga., Baltimore and Port Hueneme, Calif.

The announcement comes less than a week after UVeye’s integration with Cox Automotive’s vAuto platform. The company has also announced partnerships or integrations this year with rental car giant Hertz and dealership software provider Reynolds and Reynolds.

In a news release, UVeye said its newest collaboration makes JLR the first car manufacturer in the U.S. to implement UVeye’s AI inspections as part of its customer acceptance line process, with vehicles arriving from overseas undergoing AI-powered inspections on arrival to make sure they meet the brand’s standards before being sent to retailers.

The company said JLR’s decision to automate inspections at the point of entry is part of a broader wave of automation and digital transformation in U.S. seaports. It’s designed to create faster vehicle flow, fewer manual errors and more comprehensive inspections with transparency from ship to showroom.

“Together, UVeye and JLR are setting a new standard for vehicle logistics,” UVeye CEO and co-founder Amir Hever said, “using AI to enhance quality assurance from the moment a vehicle enters the country.

“By deploying our technology at port, JLR is creating a new benchmark of transparency, traceability and trust throughout the supply chain. This is about more than efficient port processing. It’s about building smarter, faster and more consistent automotive logistics that benefit everyone from OEMs and dealerships to drivers.”

The systems are already operational at JLR’s seaport facilities. UVeye said the port deployment marks a significant expansion of its footprint, with inspections at every stage of the vehicle lifecycle, from factory to seaport to dealerships and beyond.

The companies said they will continue to explore future projects.
