CARMEL, Ind. — ADESA announced Monday that it has promoted Jeff Bescher to the role of senior vice president of commercial sales and operations.
In this position, he will report to Bob Rauschenberg, executive vice president of sales and marketing for ADESA.
His responsibilities in this post include overseeing the company's commercial sales and operations as well as leading a nationwide team of executive sales directors.
"Jeff is a well-respected sales executive with a proven track record with customer relationships," Rauschenberg noted. "He brings a diverse skill set to our management team with a background in auction operations, sales and finance as well as remarketing."
Bescher added: "I would like to thank my team for their hard work and support. I'd also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the close working relationship and direct communication between our customers, our sales team and operating management."
His most recent position with ADESA was vice president of commercial sales and operations.

Bescher served as director of sales, national accounts at ADESA from 1995 to 2005, and then returned to the company in 2007 as vice president of sales.
His remakerting industry experience includes such management positions as group vice president of remarketing and fleet services for Emkay, regional marketing manager for GE Capital Auto Leasing and regional sales manager for Manheim Automotive Financial Services.
