ALPHARETTA, Ga. — LeasePlan USA announced Monday that it has appointed a new senior vice president of operations. Filling the role is Tim Martin, who has been with the company for more than four years.
Most recently, he served as vice president of Atlanta operations for LeasePlan. In his new position — which became effective Friday — Martin takes on all duties of the company's operations. His responsibilities include the management of vehicle acquisition, vehicle up-fitting, remarketing, license, title and registration.
As part of his new role, Martin will also be called to manage vendor relations and strategic consultations.
Additionally, he will be responsible for supervising the maintenance and repair contact center at the LeasePlan's Rolling Meadows, Ill., office.
In this position, Martin joins LeasePlan's executive management team and reports directly to Mike Pitcher, who is the company's president and chief executive officer.
He started out with LeasePlan in August 2005, coming aboard as director of remarketing before being promoted to vice president of Atlanta operations.
