Manheim held its most successful back-to-school fundraising campaign ever.
Cox Automotive’s auction chain brought in $519,788 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America from its 2025 back-to-school campaign, surpassed the 2024 total by more than $160,000, the company said.
Manheim noted the record came in its 80th anniversary year, which it said “underscores its longstanding commitment to community impact and youth empowerment.”
The campaign, now in its fifth year, represents a collaboration among Manheim’s sales teams and contributions from Manheim clients, including Element, Hertz and Pinnacle Remarketing Powered by Location Services.
“This campaign is a powerful reflection of what continues to define Manheim after 80 years in business — our enduring values and the incredible passion our people have for giving back,” Cox Automotive senior vice president of physical services and auctions Alan Lang said. “Supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of America is more than a tradition for us. It’s a promise to invest in the future of our communities and the young people who will shape them.”
In addition to the fundraising, several Manheim auction locations invited local Boys & Girls Club leaders and youth for site visits and community-building activities.

In a news release, Cox Automotive said all funds raised through the campaign will remain in the local Boys & Girls Club markets where they were generated to give young people across the country access to the tools and support they need to succeed in school and beyond.
“We are incredibly proud to deepen our partnership with Manheim. The need is urgent: America requires the next generation of leaders fostered at our Clubs, and those Club kids deserve champions like Manheim to invest in their success,” said Chad Hartman, national vice president of corporate partnership and engagement for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “This campaign allows us to deliver life-changing opportunities and secure a brighter future for every child we serve.”
