Rick Case Automotive Group has raised its support for a Florida hospital to another level.

Rita Case, president and CEO of the South Florida-based dealership group, last week presented a $2 million donation to Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital in Weston, Fla., to help fund research, education, patient care, programmatic and capital needs.

“We have always looked for opportunities to improve the healthcare needs of our community by supporting the growth and advancement of healthcare services and supporting the many healthcare professionals who are truly the unsung heroes,” Case said. “Working together, we can continue to build a thriving and healthy community.”

During a ceremony at the hospital, Cleveland Clinic officials unveiled signage designating a hallway in its primary multispecialty and ambulatory surgery clinic as the Rita and Rick Case Corridor, which the clinic said “serves as a prominent pathway for patients, visitors and caregivers.”

The ceremony also included local officials, including Weston Mayor Peggy Brown, Davie Mayor Judy Paul and Broward County Commissioner Nan H. Rich.

“We are deeply grateful to Rita Case for her ongoing support of Cleveland Clinic,” Cleveland Clinic Weston vice president and chief medical officer Scott Ross said. “Generous gifts like hers directly fuel the research, education and innovation that create opportunities for our caregivers to better serve the needs and well-being of our patients.”

Case and her late husband, Rick Case, have donated more than $3.1 million to the hospital since their initial gift in 2016 that helped fund the expansion of what is now known as the Rick Case Automotive Group Cafeteria in their honor. The Case family has also opened the gas stations at their dealerships for the hospital’s doctors, nurses and staff when hurricanes are imminent.

Rita Case, whose company operates 12 locations in Florida and Georgia, currently serves as a member of the hospital’s board of directors.

“Rita is doing a remarkable job leaving an incredible legacy in the community and preserving Rick’s memory,” said Conor Delaney, Cleveland Clinic’s executive vice president and Florida market president. “Her support means so much to all of us, inspiring and strengthening Cleveland Clinic’s mission of world-class care, research and health.”

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital was named the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area’s No. 1 hospital in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025-2026 Best Hospitals rankings, and was also selected for Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2025 list.
