CarDr.com, a provider of OBD diagnostic and vehicle appraisal technology, is joining with automated recall management services provider AutoAp to bring open recall information directly into CarDr.com’s diagnostic and appraisal reports.

The companies said the collaboration gives auto dealers and auto auctions a “more complete, data-driven view of every vehicle’s condition and safety status.”

“Our mission at CarDr.com has always been to deliver the most complete and accurate vehicle intelligence possible,” CEO Greg Lubrani said. “By integrating AutoAp’s verified recall data, we’re giving our customers not just diagnostic insight, but a clear picture of a vehicle’s safety and compliance status.

“This partnership takes our reports to the next level — bridging the gap between diagnostics and recall management.”

Through the integration, every CarDr.com diagnostic scan will include verified open recall alerts powered by AutoAp’s safety recall identification services, providing a single vehicle health report that includes both mechanical diagnostics and safety recall visibility, designed to reduce liability, improve transparency and protect consumers.

“CarDr.com’s technology aligns perfectly with our goal of improving automotive safety and operational efficiency across the industry,” AutoAp president Mark Allen said. “By combining our automated recall identification with CarDr’s powerful diagnostic tools, we’re enabling dealerships and auctions to make faster, safer and more informed decisions, while also ensuring consumers are better protected.”
