2Autogroup’s rapid expansion continues with its acquisition of Brookshire Hyundai from Bolton Automotive, a transaction announced by Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions, which represented the seller.

The dealership in the Houston area is the first in Texas for 2Autogroup, which has emerged from its home base in Colorado with the addition of four stores in three other states in the past 20 months. It now operates 10 locations in Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas and Texas.

The company, founded in 2018, acquired Enchanted Mazda in Santa Fe, N.M., from Sonic Automotive in April 2024 and Max Ford and Max Hyundai in Manhattan, Kan., from Max Motors this summer.

Its most recent addition will continue operating under the Brookshire Hyundai name.

Bolton Automotive, led by King Bolton and Jeremy Soileau, operates Ford and Volkswagen dealerships in Lake Charles, La., and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM store in nearby Port Arthur, Texas.

The Brookshire dealership is some 180 miles west of Lake Charles.

“As we continue to look for new opportunities to grow, it made sense to divest this store as we focus on stores that are closer in proximity to our existing footprint,” said Soileau, Bolton’s chief operating officer and operating partner. “As much as we like this store, we decided to have the capital prepared to redeploy on a better strategic fit in the future.”

Wilson Auto Family crosses into Kansas

Wilson Auto Family has crossed the border.

The operator of Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac franchises in Oklahoma has acquired Dutch Miller GMC of El Dorado in neighboring Kansas from Chris Miller of Dutch Miller Auto Group, according to Performance Brokerage Services, which brokered the deal.

The dealership, which has been renamed Wilson GMC of El Dorado, is Wilson’s first outside its home state.

Wilson Automotive was founded by Dathan and Teresa Wilson in 1986 with a Chevy dealership in Stillwater, Okla. Their son Aaron Wilson took over the operation in 2013.

Dutch Miller Auto Group was established by H.D. “Dutch” Miller, who opened Dutch Miller Chevrolet in 1961. The group is owned and operated by Dutch’s son, Matt Miller, and grandsons Chris and Sam Miller.

Dutch Miller Auto Group operates 12 locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia, representing the Ford, Chevrolet, Subaru, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, GMC and Hyundai brands.
