TITUSVILLE, Pa. — Salvage Direct revealed on Monday that the Avis Budget Group is its newest seller partner.
Auction officials indicated that now Avis Budget Group can use Salvage Direct's online auction platform SalvageDirect.com to sell its vehicles to buyers worldwide.
"This new partnership will benefit our worldwide buyers with more high-quality, rental inventory," highlighted Dan Hoversten, chief executive officer of Salvage Direct.
"We're proud to add Avis and Budget to our rental company partners," Hoversten added.
Salvage Direct officials noted that their company was founded in 1998 as one of the first online auctions in the total-loss salvage industry. The company now handles a variety of vehicles, including motorcycles, boats, powersports, recreational and commercial units on behalf of insurance companies, finance companies and rental fleet partners.
