AAAG Gains New Dealer Services VP
CHARLESTON, S.C. — American Auto Auction Group has named a new vice president of dealer services. Promoted to serve in the role was Martin Snead, who has been with AAAG since 2006.
Snead's most recent post was in a position where he developed a sales and marketing team at Rea Brothers' Mid-South Auction, an AAAG auction in Pearl, Miss.
In his new position, his major duties will include managing all AAAG auctions' marketing and sales programs aimed at dealers.
"Martin has been a key part of our success here in Charleston and we are thrilled to promote him to this important position," stated Steve Simon, chief executive officer of AAAG.
Keith Lelux, chief operating officer for AAAG, noted: "Our auctions are known for their excellence in service to the dealers in their market areas, and the Internet now expands that reach nationwide.
"Having spent much of his career in and around dealerships throughout the Southeast, Martin will be especially key as we expand our relationships with new- and used-car dealers, familiarizing them with the products and services our auctions have to offer," Lelux added.
Snead's sales management work experience goes back more than 30 years throughout different industries. Included in his background is a decade working for new and used dealerships in the sales and F&I arenas.
