Offering the automaker's reaction to making the list, Derek Joyce, Genesis Coupe product manager for Hyundai Motor America, noted: "Genesis Coupe is the most exciting performance car ever developed by Hyundai and offers perfect rear-wheel drive vehicle dynamics at an unbeatable value.

"We are thrilled to receive this recognition from About.com Cars, as it further communicates Hyundai's commitment to producing vehicles that provide both high quality and exciting performance, offerings we look to further enhance heading into 2010," he added.

At Kia, Michael Sprague, vice president of marketing of Kia Motors America, shared his perspective: "In today's economy consumers are looking for an attractive, well-equipped vehicle at a great price point, and the stylish Forte sedan offers exactly that and more.

"Recognition from a widely referenced consumer site like About.com brings more attention and credibility to the progress of the Kia brand, and consumers can expect to see more of our new signature design direction in the near future as we continue the largest product rollout in company history," he added.
