MINNEAPOLIS –
Since ACA International members approved bylaw amendments and a transition plan for the association’s new governance structure late last month, the collection organization is seeking applicants for 12 available seats on the restructured board of directors.
Officials indicated interested candidates should review the application form and campaign rules. ACA’s corporate secretary must receive completed applications no later than May 18.
The approved transition plan calls for three current executive committee officers to assume seats on the 2012-13 board.
ACA also explained Tom Stockton will become president, Leslie Bender will become president-elect and Tim Mabry will become treasurer.
On July 18, at ACA International’s Convention in Hollywood, Fla., the council of delegates will elect 12 additional board members. Four will serve three-year terms; four will serve two-year terms; and four will serve one-year terms.
In subsequent years, ACA said its council will elect five directors to serve three-year terms.
