CARMEL, Ind. — ADESA announced each of the company's 62 locations throughout North America will be participating in National Auto Auction Week, a celebration that begins on Monday.
Officials recounted how the National Auto Auction Association established this week to increase the public's awareness of the industry, as well as to recognize the positive role its members play in both the national economy and the local community.
The NAAA was founded 62 years ago this month.
ADESA also emphasized that it has maintained an ongoing partnership with NAAA. Throughout the years, numerous ADESA employees have served on various NAAA boards and committees.
"As proud members of NAAA, we are pleased to be participating in this special week that celebrates our employees, our customers, our local communities and our industry," stated ADESA president and chief executive officer Tom Caruso.
"When I first got into this business, it was through NAAA that I learned so much about the inner workings of the auction industry and had the privilege of interacting with so many industry leaders," Caruso added.
