ADESA Golden Gate Celebrates Crabfest

ADESA Golden Gate celebrated its eighth annual Crabfest Sale recently and not only offered more than 2,100 vehicles from a bevy of consignors, but treated dealers to a seafood feast, as well.
Just before the San Francisco-themed sale, the event included a cornucopia of more than 1,000 pounds of Dungeness crab and clam chowder soup in sourdough bread bowls.
As far as the actual sale, consignors at the 12-lane auction included: Ally, ARI, Avis, Bank of the West, Budget Trucks, California Superstores, Chase, Chrysler, CitiFinancial, Donlen, DTAG, Emkay, Enterprise Holdings, GE, General Motors, The Hansel Group, Hendrick Group, Kia, Lease Plan, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, PAR, Santander, U-Haul, U.S. Bank, VCI, Wells Fargo, Wheels and Westlake.
A free lunch and commemorative T-shirts were provided to dealers.
“Year after year, my team really comes together to make this event a success,” said ADESA Golden Gate General Manager Greg Beck. “We not only exceeded our goals this year, but the dealers really enjoyed the festivities.”
Beck added: “Crabfest is one of our most exciting times of the year. Our dealers really look forward to attending, and our employees enjoy making it an entertaining and festive event.”
