Consumers name Land Rover, Ram websites most useful, engaging

A semiannual study conducted on how much car shoppers enjoy their online experiences while visiting luxury and mass-market brand websites recently found that Land Rover websites are favored the most among luxury brand shoppers and that Ram is the highest-ranked mass-market brand.
Findings from the newly released J.D. Power Manufacturer Website Evaluation Study Cross-Device for summer 2018 are based on insights gathered from car shoppers using desktops, mobile sites and tablets to browse OEM-hosted websites.
On a 1,000-point scale, the overall brand satisfaction rate averages 830 for the luxury segment and 821 for the mass market segment, according to J.D. Power data.
Land Rover, the highest-ranked luxury brand, averages a score of 853, while Ram, the highest-ranked mass-market brand, carries an average of 840.

According to J.D. Power, its 2018 Manufacturer Website Evaluation Study Cross-Device— Summer study is based on May responses from 13,406 new-vehicle shoppers who said that they will be in the market for a new vehicle within the next 24 months.
