TORONTO -

The Auto Remarketing Canada conference revealed the addition of new speakers and sponsors this week, including key executives from Canadian Black Book and Automotive Lease Guide.

New executives joining this conference include Josh Bailey, of Canadian Black Book; Carey Smith, director of investigations for the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act; and Matt Rispin, of the North Toronto Auction.

Sponsors for the event — which is being held April 16 through April 18 at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto — include CarProof and Canadian Black Book.
Additional speakers already on board for the conference include:

—Paul Potratz, Potratz Advertising.
—Michael Hatch, chief economist, Canadian Automobile Dealers Association.

“These new executives will play a key role in our Auto Remarketing Canada 2012 agenda, and we’re looking forward to many more joining us in the coming weeks,” said conference chair Bill Zadeits.

“Each of these speakers offers something unique to share with dealers, remarketers, executives and everyone within the Canadian used-car and remarketing space,” he added.

Also, Auto Remarketing Canada is encouraging additional Canadian auto industry leaders to sign up as speakers. The Call for Speakers is officially open and will be open through Feb. 10. The event’s education tracks will delve into dealer‐specific interests, remarketer education and legal/compliance issues.
