AutoNation and Sirius XM Radio announced Tuesday a partnership in which the automotive retailer’s customers will now be eligible to receive a 3-month SiriusXM subscription when they purchase a pre-owned vehicle with a factory-installed satellite radio, regardless of make or model.
Now, AutoNation customers purchasing pre-owned vehicles will have access to SiriusXM’s commercial-free music. SiriusXM also offers sports, news, talk, entertainment, traffic and weather information to its listeners.
Commenting on the news, chief executive officer of AutoNation Mike Jackson noted, "AutoNation is dedicated to providing all its customers with the best vehicle buying and driving experience possible.
"The SiriusXM pre-owned program is another example of our ability to bring added value to our pre-owned vehicle inventory and provide our customers with fantastic in-vehicle entertainment,” he added.
Sirius officials also offered their enthusiasm for the new partnership.
