RIO LINDA, Calif. –
A stronger-than-anticipated Thanksgiving weekend for used-car sales prompted a busy wholesale market last week for Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction, whose lanes were apparently buzzing with dealer activity and rather robust prices.
In the latest post-sale video report from the auction, auction president John Brasher said dealers enjoyed solid sales over the Thanksgiving holiday, which was a “good used-car weekend and better than expected.”
So when they returned to the auctions after the holiday, they were in need of more used cars to fill their lots.
“Our reps reported good sales. It seems like there was active bidding in the lanes,” Brasher said. “Dealers needed inventory. It was much better than the normal November market.”
More from Brasher’s can be seen in the video, which can be found at http://blog.brashers.com/?p=1033.
