Carfax Reveals Partnership with Internet Sales Lead Generator Cargigi

Late last week, Carfax revealed its newest partner.
Internet sales lead generator Cargigi is now offering the company’s vehicle history reports for its online listings.
Subscribing dealers will now be privy to Carfax’s vehicle history information, which can be added to their inventory marketed online.
Providing this information up-front to online shoppers builds confidence and influences their dealer choice, company officials stressed.
Now, consumers viewing vehicle listings posted by Cargigi on numerous free classifieds websites will begin seeing the reports dealers purchased for each unit.
Consumers can then access the reports for free by clicking the ‘Show Me the Carfax’ logo on each listing.
Moreover, shoppers can click directly to the vehicle details on a dealer’s Facebook page to see vehicle history highlights from Carfax.
It was also noted that vehicle videos created by Cargigi for Facebook and YouTube may also include Carfax information.
“Partnering with Carfax enables us to assist our dealers in representing the quality of their pre-owned offerings,” said Rick Ashby, co-founder and executive vice president of Cargigi.
“It also provides potential buyers with immediate, cost free access to critical information regarding the historic background of the vehicle(s) they are interested in purchasing.
“Due to the consumer traffic we generate, dealers are able to get tremendous exposure for their pre-owned inventory as well as quality, targeted, first-party leads and selling opportunities regarding specific pre-owned vehicles,” he continued.
Cargigi client Andy Graff, director of sales at Galpin Ford, also offered his opinion regarding the new partnership: “Online leads are vital to our business."
"We’re very excited that Cargigi has partnered with Carfax. It’s a great benefit that we expect will drive even more shoppers from the Cargigi online network to our store,” he concluded.
