LONDON, Ontario -

CarProof reported earlier this week that another automaker in Canada is now using the company’s vehicle history reports as part of its certified pre-owned program.

Joining the list of automakers implementing CarProof’s reports is Volvo, whose Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. CPO program has augmented its inspection process by requiring all certified units to include a CarProof vehicle history report.

“CarProof is pleased to be recognized as a key ingredient in the Volvo CPO Program, and we look forward to working alongside Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. and its many reputable retailers,” said Marty Meadows, vice president of strategic accounts and business development at CarProof. “Not only is CarProof a value-add in the certified arena, our reports provide transparency to the remarketing process for all used-vehicle transactions.

“We look forward to building on our relationships with our current Volvo dealers and forging out new ones with those we have not had the pleasure to work with previously, providing unsurpassed dealer support throughout,” he continued.

Ian Joyce, Volvo Cars of Canada’s vice president of sales, added: “Volvo Cars of Canada is committed to providing an exceptional ownership experience for all Volvo owners, and our new CPO program provides our Certified Pre-Owned owners with vehicles that pass a rigorous inspection and reconditioning regiment that includes a CarProof report for each certified pre-owned Volvo.

“Volvo’s newly structured inspection and certification process is complemented by a six-year/160k km warranty and roadside assistance,” Joyce continued. “The Certified Comprehensive Inspection Report, combined with a CarProof report, further establishes peace-of-mind and provides the end consumer with greater confidence in the purchase, in the dealership and in the Volvo brand."
