Similar in name but showcasing vehicles from different eras, ClassicCars.com and Cars.com this week agreed to promote each other’s websites.

Officials explained that Cars.com visitors who are searching for classic vehicles or looking to sell one should be directed to ClassicCars.com. Similarly, ClassicCars.com visitors seeking new and late-model used vehicles should be sent over to Cars.com.

Management from both sites emphasized that linking between ClassicCars.com and Cars.com is aimed to seamless so visitors should have an easy way back to their point of entry.

ClassicCars.com contends that it reaches more than 400,000 enthusiasts each month and features more than 20,000 vehicles for sale, ranging from low-cost project cars to elite show vehicles. 

Meanwhile, Cars.com boasts that it is compiles visits from more than 10 million vehicle shoppers monthly.

“We are excited to offer our vast selection of classic cars, trucks, motorcycles and RVs to the Cars.com community,” stated Roger Falcione, ClassicCars.com president and chief executive officer. “They are renowned for their leadership in automotive marketing services and we are delighted to be able to offer our vehicles to their visitors."

Mitch Golub, Cars.com president, said, “By partnering with ClassicCars.com, Cars.com is expanding its selection of classic and collector cars accessible to our shoppers, and exposing our late-model used and new vehicle inventory to ClassicCars.com shoppers,” Golub insisted.

“This is a great opportunity for Cars.com to meet the needs of shoppers on our site, regardless of year, make or model they are searching, and to increase exposure for our advertisers,” he concluded.
