Courtesy Automotive Group has added a seventh location with the acquisition of East Valley Nissan in Mesa, Ariz., from owner-operator Greg Burk, according to seller’s representative Kerrigan Advisors.
The dealership, renamed Courtesy Nissan of Mesa, is located in the Superstition Auto Mall in Mesa, where Courtesy also has Kia, Jeep and Chrysler/Dodge/Ram stores.
The Phoenix-based Courtesy group, which has been in operation since 1955, now operates six dealerships in the Phoenix area and one in San Diego, Calif.
“Arizona truly represents the sweet spot when it comes to buy/sell demand and dealership valuations – a top auto retail market fueled by population growth and a business-friendly environment,” Kerrigan Advisors founder and managing director Erin Kerrigan said in a news release.
“This, coupled with Nissan being a high-performing franchise in Phoenix, typifies where the buy/sell market is today with buyers exhibiting a deep focus on the top franchises and the top markets.”
