Cox Automotive is committed to showing its leadershipin the electric vehicle market and its future. One way the company is proving this strategy is launching the inaugural EV Battery Summit, set to take place virtually next week. 

The event, scheduled for 11 a.m. (ET) to 3 p.m. on Sept. 30,  will bring together EV thought leaders and trasportation strategists to dissect and analyze the current state of the market in question, as well as new leaps in battery tech bound to impact EV growth in the future. 

The new event's opening keynote will feature George Goddu, leader of electric vehicle service strategy for Ford, and Joe George, president of Cox Automotive Mobility.

Attendees will also be privy to fireside-chat style presentations, including the following:

 The Road to Fleet and Commercial Electrification, that will explore "how the surge of e-commerce and on-demand delivery services, combined with EVs lower operation costs, will lead to the expansion of electric fleets of all sizes," according to Cox Automotive.
