Donlen’s Callahan Shares Goals for Vice Presidency of AFLA Board
NORTHBROOK, Ill. — Donlen president and chief operating officer Tom Callahan laid out a number of goals for his time as vice president of the 2010/2011 Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association board of directors, a position to which he was recently elected.
"AFLA is an organization that gives a voice to thought leaders from all facets of the fleet industry," Callahan shared. "It's important that we all contribute to the advancement of the industry by sharing trends, news and best practices from our respective areas."
According to the association's website, also elected to AFLA's board were:
—ARI's Ed Pierce, who will serve as director of fleet management companies.
—Panasonic's Frank Memolo, who will serve as director of fleet.
—Subaru's Tina Kourakos, who will serve as director allied.
—Safelite Auto Glass' Mark Klein, who will serve as director at large.
Regarding his goals for the position, Callahan noted: "It's important that Donlen is part of AFLA so that we keep current with issues that may directly impact our customers. As a member of the board, my goal is to positively influence the present and future focus of the industry and further develop key industry contacts.
"These accomplishments will not only help the industry as a whole, but also help Donlen to better serve our customers who are being tasked to do more with less on a daily basis," he added.
