SANTA MONICA, Calif. — For families in the market for a new vehicle, Edmunds.com teamed up with Parents to make recommendations called "Wallet-Friendly Family Cars for 2010."
A total of six vehicles were included with MSRP of each starting below $20,000. The ones officials picked were:

—Hyundai Elantra Touring.
—Scion xB.
—Suzuki Kizashi.

"With starting prices all below $20,000, these vehicles offer families an impressive combination of practical features, interior space, and high safety ratings," explained Edmunds.com senior analyst Karl Brauer.
