SANTA MONICA, Calif. –
Edmunds.com revealed Tuesday that it has promoted three long-time executives.
In a reorganization, former chief executive officer Jeremy Anwyl will be stepping into the role of vice chairman of the company. Anwyl has been with the Edmunds.com since December 1999, first as chief operating officer.
“The new assignment allows him to focus on further strategic advancements,” company officials explained.
Moving on, Edmunds.com also promoted Avi Steinlauf from president to CEO, filling Anywyl’s former position.
Steinlauf will oversee the business and “direct the company toward the goals of empowering the automotive consumer, maintaining the high quality of the workplace and building the company to thrive for the long term,” the company shared.
Steinlauf joined Edmunds in the summer of 1998 as director of business development and has also headed up the company’s marketing and revenue management areas.
