efleetdirect Opens New Dallas Remarketing Facility, Reveals Future Plans
DALLAS — Officials from efleetdirect touted the capability of their new staging and processing facility in Dallas, while also highlighting where their next expansion will likely be located.
The new Texas facility is located at 2750 Electronic Lane in Dallas and is geared to house vehicles being put up for sale in various wholesale and retail channels. Basically, it's serving as a marshalling center.
"Just as our facility in Indiana does now, we will conduct a thorough inspection of each unit and take an average of 50 photographs, which will allow potential buyers to see each detail and angle of these vehicles," explained Ricky Pickett, sales and remarketing manager of the Dallas facility.
"In addition to preparing the condition report, we test drive each vehicle and do a visual inspection for frame damage and previous paint and/or body work," continued Pickett, who is a former professional baseball player with the Cincinnati Reds and also spent nine years with Manheim in the Dallas area.
"Our extensive number of vehicle photographs along with the condition report provides complete documentation for potential buyers," Pickett added. "This level of detail instills confidence in their buying decision."
David Borshoff, vice president of business operations and development for efleetdirect, elaborated about the purpose of the Dallas facility while touching on where the company plans to expand next.
"The Dallas location allows efleetdirect to cover a six-state area from a central location. By serving lenders, leasing companies and other fleets with our broad spectrum of services, we can offer clients a streamlined remarketing process in a multi-channel ecommerce environment," Borshoff stated.
"And, while we are excited to have a location in Dallas, we have already begun planning for our next location in Denver, Colorado," he declared.
