DETROIT -
General Motors recently named a general director of used vehicle activities, marketing, fleet and commercial operations, Auto Remarketing learned.
Taking on this position is Jennifer Costabile, a 25-year veteran of GM. She is responsible for GM’s remarketing activities and certified used operations, as well as leading the fleet and commercial organization’s advertising and marketing efforts.
Costabile reports to Brian Small, general manager of fleet and commercial operations.
During her time with GM, Costabile has predominately worked in the field on sales, service and parts, as well as working directly with dealers to improve dealer relations, product and marketing effectiveness and developing the overall dealer network.
Before her current position, she served as general sales manager for Buick/GMC, where she was responsible for sales and dealer interaction for Buick and GMC vehicles in the U.S.
Costabile has served in a variety of leadership roles throughout the U.S. and throughout GM, including zone manager, district manager, regional manager and regional marketing manager. She has worked for every division of GM, as well as for GM’s Service and Parts organization.
