GM Remarketing Breaks Down Year’s Top Auctions

With the names of the fourth quarter winners to be revealed shortly, GM Remarketing shared with Auto Remarketing on Monday a quarter-by-quarter breakdown of the auctions recognized for strong operational performance in 2011.
The GM Sponsored Auctions Operational award is doled out each quarter to one auction per region, with the following criteria considered in determining a winner: vehicle repair and reconditioning, dealers’ purchasing activity, vehicle throughput, sales volumes, as well as percentage of older inventory.
“The GM Sponsored Auctions Operational awards signify optimal performance and we are delighted to honor our auctions for their outstanding accomplishments each quarter,” explained Dan Kennedy, manager of GM Remarketing. “In addition to fostering healthy competition, a key benefit for nationwide GM Sponsored Auctions is the establishment of successful practices and case studies.”
