GM Reveals Auction of Year

General Motors revealed its 2010 Auction of the Year on Thursday, and receiving the honor for the second year in a row is ADESA Indianapolis.
The award aims to recognize the auction partner that shows the strongest performance for the year. GM spotlights the winner for its achievements in reconditioning vehicles, vehicle repairs, customer service and presentation and selling used GM models to dealers.
ADESA Indianapolis was once again chosen from a lot of 37 GM-sponsored auctions.
Dan Kennedy, manager for GM Remarketing, praised the auction for its consistent efforts toward making progress in the areas of reconditioning, repair and marketing used GM models, as well as how it attends to the needs of dealers.
“Vehicle auctions are essential to GM’s used-vehicle sales as well as GM’s ability to serve our dealers,” Kennedy noted. “ADESA Indianapolis excels at providing quality products and excellent service to our dealership customers — they simply don’t believe that ‘good’ is good enough.”
ADESA Indianapolis general manager Dave Emerson added: “Everyone here at ADESA Indianapolis is extremely excited to be recognized by General Motors for our performance for the second year in a row.
“Our hard-working team here in Indy takes great pride in providing the best service possible, and we view this honor as a significant accomplishment,” he continued. “Our dealers truly make us successful, and we appreciate their continuous support.”
