HANOVER, Md. –
The Hudson Cook law firm revealed recently it has a new partner to establish its Cleveland office, hiring an attorney who previously served as counsel for Chrysler Financial.
Joining the firm is Angela Maynard Shovein, whose practice will focus on federal and state consumer financial service laws.
Officials noted that Maynard most recently was counsel at Chrysler Financial, and general counsel and chief compliance officer at DeepGreen Financial.
(Chrysler Financial, of course, was purchased by TD Bank Group and was subsequentially rebranded TD Auto Finance.)
Before that, she worked for a decade at KeyBank in Cleveland. Her positions there included senior counsel, senior vice president and chief privacy executive.
Her legal experience goes back more than 20 years and her areas of expertise include consumer compliance and privacy law.

“Angela brings skills and knowledge that will fit perfectly in the firm’s practice,” said managing partner Robert Cook.
