MOUNT ARLINGTON, N.J. –
The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance said its August Roundtable Meeting generated record attendance, something the executive director said was driven by a few key factors.
Specifically, there were 163 people who attended the meeting, which was held in Denver.
Officials indicated that Matt Marks, IARA’s executive director, pointed to solid programming and the organization teaming up with the National Auto Auction Association for various efforts as helping.
IARA and NAAA have been “working closer” on various matters in the field. Moreover, the two organizations teamed up to set a standard for the slew of vehicle consignor programs.
Offering his take, Tim Martin, senior vice president and chief operating officer for the corporate fleet division of LeasePlan USA, shared: “By keeping the focus of the meeting content to topics of interest to a wide variety of consignors, I’ve gained a better understanding of where we as consignors have different needs and requirements for a service, but more importantly, how to work together to form a consensus that benefits us all and results in improved efficiency for the consignors and our remarketing partners.”
