CARMEL, Ind. — ADESA and NADA University are teaming up for what they're calling the Industry Insight Series, a gathering of experts such as Tom Kontos and Dale Pollak to discuss the current state of the used-vehicle market and where it's headed.

The free lunch is followed by a program that begins at 11:30 a.m. CT on Sept. 15. The event, titled "What's Now? What's Next?" is slated to be conducted at ADESA Dallas, located at 3501 Lancaster-Hutchins Road in Hutchins, Texas.

Kontos, executive vice president of customer strategies and analytics at ADESA, is scheduled to share his latest market review. Pollak, chairman and founder of vAuto, is expected to discuss the newest technologies available to dealers.

Other well-known industry professionals scheduled to be part of the event include:

—Les Abrams, instructor at NADA Academy, on used-vehicle inventories and today's best practices. 

—George Heppe, president and owner of GigglePop, on new mobile developments.

Tim Zierden, vice president of dealer sales and services at ADESA, is to serve as the facilitator of event discussion.
