Insurance Auto Auctions Boosts Midwest Footprint with Newest Facility
WESTCHESTER, Ill. — Insurance Auto Auctions boosted its presence in the Midwest again recently, rolling out its 23rd location in the region.
Executives believe the opening of their facility in Davenport, Iowa, should enhance services in the Quad Cities area as well as northwestern Illinois and eastern Iowa.
Insurance Auto Auctions indicated the first sale in Davenport is set for Monday.
"We continue to open branch locations that make good business sense for our customers to sell, bid on and buy salvage vehicles either in person, or live online," explained chief executive officer Tom O'Brien.
"We continue to expand our facility coverage lead in the industry, providing more cost effective options for our buyers," he continued. "As part of our ongoing service-driven strategy, our new Davenport facility will enable us to further reduce transportation costs and cycle times for our vehicle provider customers as well."
Back in February, the company expanded in the Midwest when it opened its facility in Portage, Wis. The company pointed out that auction preview dates and times vary from facility to facility. Dealers and other salvage industry personnel can find more details at the branch information page at iaai.com.
