Insurance Auto Auctions Expands One Car One Difference

WESTCHESTER, Ill. -
Four more organizations will be receiving some assistance in their charitable efforts, as they have been named as beneficiaries of Insurance Auto Auctions One Car One Difference program.
The program — which is run by IAA — will be rolled out this month. IAA is asking the public to donate old vehicles. Doing so allows the company to raise money for the charitable efforts of several organizations.
Joining the National Kidney Foundation as beneficiaries are the American Heart Association, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, The Humane Society of the United States and Chicago Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Donators can choose which of the aforementioned causes will receive the proceeds from their donation.
“Many people don’t realize that their old cars can easily be turned into money to provide people, as well as animals, with critical resources such as food, clothing, shelter, medicine and education,” stated Tom O’Brien, IAA’s chief executive officer.
“We saw a need to generate greater public awareness about the car donation process and the benefits it provides, and that’s why we created One Car One Difference,” he continued. “Through this program we can help these organizations expand their admirable efforts, which are as unique as the individuals they serve.”
