WESTCHESTER, Ill. — Insurance Auto Auctions is expanding again; this time in the Southeast.

Executives this week brought their 43rd branch location in the region online as the salvage auction company opened a facility in Macon, Ga.

IAA now has seven facilities in the state and more than 150 locations throughout North America. The Macon site is located at 2200 Trade Drive.

"The new IAA Macon branch is strategically located at the intersection of major interstate highways, which further streamlines transportation efficiencies and logistics for our customers," explained Tom O'Brien, chief executive officer of Insurance Auto Auctions.

"We are passionate about delivering best-in-class service to each client. Part of that commitment is fulfilled by expanding our facility footprint in strategic locations, increasing our inventory and offering customers a growing volume of salvage vehicles to bid on and buy," O'Brien went on to say.

Earlier this year, executives added facilities in Anchorage, Alaska; Portage, Wis.; and Davenport, Iowa. The company pointed out that auction preview dates and times vary from facility to facility. Dealers and other salvage industry personnel can find more details at the branch information page at iaai.com.
