IRVINE, Calif. — In light of the 2011 model year kicking off, Kelley Blue Book's Kbb.com recently released a list of the new models that have the best chances of enticing shoppers.

Kbb.com said the 2011 class of new models is comprised of vehicles that "break new design ground" but also consist of revamped versions of more familiar vehicles. Editors called this year's roll-out of new products "one of the most diverse and intensive" of all time.

The Top 10 Summer Sizzlers list from KBB essentially highlights what the company considers to be the most alluring of the new bunch.

"From redesigned longtime success-stories like the BMW 5 Series and Jeep Grand Cherokee to all-new entrants to the marketplace, like the Chevrolet Cruze, Honda CR-Z or Hyundai Equus, many hot 2011 model-year cars are coming through the product pipeline this summer," stated Jack Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kbb.com.

"It's never been a better time to be in the market for a new car, because auto manufacturers have stepped up their game to offer more choices than ever," he added.
