MIAMI — Taking a similar path as auction and rental companies, LeaseTrader.com has halted any transactions involving Toyota vehicles involved in the sales stoppage.
Site officials said that the this move will continue until documentation proving inspection or repair of the respective Toyota vehicles are completed.
LeaseTrader.com listed the vehicles it included in this decision: 2009-2010 RAV4, Matrix and Corolla models; the 2005-2010 Avalon; 2010 Highlander; 2007-2010 Tundra and the 2008-2010 Sequoia; as well as some 2007-2010 Camrys with gas pedal assemblies made by CTS Corp.
Site officials stressed that currently no Lexus or Scion models are involved.
LeaseTrader.com went on to indicate that customers interested in taking over the remaining lease contract of any Toyota models involved will be contacted by their account representative.
