TORRANCE, Calif. –
Lexus has new leadership within its certified pre-owned operation, Auto Remarketing learned this week.
Former national CPO manager Chuck Yaeger is now the Lexus national customer satisfaction manager, while the former holder of that role, Denise Jacobson, was named national market representation/CPO manager, which is a newly created position.
Additionally, performance accessories manager Jeff Koford is taking on the role of CPO/performance & accessories management manager. He reports to Jacobson.
The brand’s CPO sales in May came in at 5,761 units, marking a 12.5-percent year-over-year decrease.
This marked the first time since August that Lexus had not achieved record CPO sales for that particular month.
Through May, Lexus sold 29, 591 CPO vehicles year-to-date, about a 6-percent increase from the pace through the first five months of 2010, which ended up being the brand’s best CPO year on record.
